« A long time ago, there was an English miner named Charles Myers who travelled to India in search of exotic ores.

His boss had told him: ?Myers, go to India and bring me back all the precious ores and minerals you find! Trust me, it'll be worth your time!?.

And without a single second lost, he packed his bags, got a train ticket and headed towards Jaisalmer, India.

Once he had arrived, he checked into his hotel and unpacked his bags.

His boss had told him all the details: which hotel to stay at, where to eat, and where there was supposedly a lot of minerals.

The hotel was considered a huge downgrade from European hotels but was the best budget hotel for their company.

A week later of learning the local area, Charles contacted the Indian Mining Company to confirm that he was supposed mine there.

After they confirmed, Charles got his tools and enlisted the help of some locals then began to mine.

Over a month passed without finding anything, and Charles started to become hopeless that there was nothing there until suddenly he had found a clump of rubies.

He was lost in excitement and completely forgot about his objective.

He took the clump of rubies and set them carefully in his bag and brought them back to the hotel.

He admired them longingly and was interrupted by a telegram: it was his boss. The message read: ?Myers, you haven't updated me on the situation in a while.

Have you uncovered anything substantial yet? If you don't reply soon, consider yourself fired!? Charles suddenly realised what this meant.

He could either tell his boss what happened, make his company rich and continue working as a miner, or he could ignore them, sell the rubies in India, keep the money for himself and never have to work for the rest of his life.

He thought about it for about two minutes and decided not to respond.

After that, he went to Jaisalmer's central market to ask for the approximate value of those rubies.

After seeing three different merchants, he realised that the value of the rubies was far superior than he thought.

Next, he wentto a professional jewel appraiser to get a more accurate price value.

The jewel appraiser whose name was Madhu said: ?My, I have never seen such perfect rubies! I will buy them off of you for, how about $4500??. »
