There are only 5 070 Monacan citizens.
24 000 residents are of foreign
nationality, the majority French and Italian.

on income or capital but they do not have the right to play at the

Following widespread suspicion of fraud, the government launched
a major clean up of the economy in 1995.
Today gambling accounts for less than 4 % of the State's income.
The Principality of Monaco has a Mediterranean climate, mild in winter
