« I’m going to present to you Taylor Momsen’s biography. First things first, her complete name is Taylor Michel Momsen.

She was named after the great Mick Jagger because she was born on July the 26th, just like him.

Also she was born in Saint Louis, Minessota.

Let’s first talk about her model career: she got her first experience at 2 years old at Ford Models, so she’s pretty precocious.

And after she had an experience with Victoria’s Secret because she posed for the Love Rock perfume of this famous brand. Now let’s take a look at her actor career.

She appeared in many ads when she was just a little girl, just like you see here. Before quitting acting, she embodied Cindy Lou in one of the most famous Christmas movies « How the Grinch stole Chirstmas », and her career boomed thanks to her role of Jenny Humphrey in the show Gossip Girl. She even wrote her first music for The Grinch movie when she was about 5.

Then she learnt to play the guitar at 8.

In 2009 she created her rock and roll band called The Pretty Reckless with Ben Philips, Mark Damon and Jamie Perkins pictured here. The whole band is influenced by many big rock and roll stars such as Guns and Roses, Kurt Cobain, Oasis, but also by her catholic education. She uses many catholic references in her texts and her video clips and she is recognizable by her big smokey eyes making and also for her controverted outfits that some judge inappropriate. That’s actually one of the reasons why I picked her for this presentation, because she doesn’t care about other people that much and she just lives her life like she wants to.

And because she remains silent about her private life, she doesn’t do that much interviews etc, and that is something that I really respect.

Her being able not to fall into this craziness fame can bring sometimes. In conclusion I think she is an amazing artist but also a really strong person in her daily life. Thank you for your attention!. »
