Exposé sur Eminem

I write this letter because I think you should add an essential person to the Hip Hop Hall of fame Museum.

Indeed, this rapper that I am going to present in a second part is someone important on the Hip Hop world because this person is really influencing, and an example for everybody. So, I think you know him, Eminem, from his real name Marshall Bruce Mathers. He was born on a poor area of Detroit, on October 17 th, 1972.

He has been abandoned by his father when he was 1 and finally grew up with only his addicted mother, who treated him bad, as he could describe in many of his songs.

Eminem is now known as a rapper, producer, composer, and so on.

He has his solo career but also take part of a group, the D12.

Moreover, he is the main actor of his own film he produced in 2008, “8 mile”.

Marshall started to rap when he was 13 years old, and he gained more and more notoriety thanks to rap battles, and finally enter in the rap world with his first album “Infinite”, in 1996. Nowadays, Eminem is verry famous, known by most people, particularly in USA, where he past most of the time of his life.

Indeed, he had won a lot of awards such as the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song (for “Love Yourself”); also, he was the first artist to win the “Best Rap Album” for 3 consecutives, with his album “The Eminem Show” on Grammy Awards and won the award again in 2010 for his album “Relapse”, giving him a total of 15 Grammys in his career. Moreover, he has been nominated as the Artist of Decade by Billboards magazine in 2010, MTV ranked him as the 10th biggest icon in pop music history, he also became, at the 2013 MTV Europe Music Award, the first rapper to ever receive the Global Icon Award due to his accomplishments and influences in music, joining him with Queen, Whitney Houston, and Bon Jovi.

So, as you can understand, Eminem is not a simple rapper, he is very talented.

But he didn’t only win awards and different prizes, he also broke a record, in 2020, in the song “Godzilla”, Eminem rapped 224 words in 31 second, otherwise he sang 7.23 words per second, what is his new record, after his first one in 2013 when he released “Rap God”.

I can also add that this incredible rapper had a lot of collaboration with other famous singers, such as Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Sia, Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé, Juice Wrld… I hope, with all the accomplishment I described to you, you will recognize how much Eminem is someone important to the word of music.

However, I must precise how much he is strong.

Indeed, Marshall used his rage and his bad experiences to use it as a force, a force that premised him to be who he is today, he worked hard to conquer his opponent, not only during the battle.

Eminem related his story on his music, while showing how much he is strong in this domain.

Finally, Eminem is someone influencing for a lot of people, because he is a good example, he started with nothing, and finished as the person he is today.
