Gothic Story (Anglais Renforcé)
Rebecca was a lovely young woman carefree although very curious
but extremely naive.
She had not doubt that waking up in the morning
that she was going to meet people and what was going to happen that
day would be a turning point in her life.
She had arrived in this village for several days to work as personal
assistant at Edithe Van Hoper, bitter old woman, alone and a little
plump, who lived in a huge mansion in gothic style and slightly
dilapedeted.
At first glance, Rebecca was afraid to go to her remained
as it was frightening.
She had yet to respond to the parents's last
request, who died prematurely in an accident during a horse ride, where
they were both fallen into the ravine.
This is how she found herself
having to perform every wish -even the craziest- this woman.
Waking in the morning, she had the feeling that something
important to happen, yet she had done as usual.
She got up, had made
her bed, was dressed properly and had gone to bring breakfast at Edithe
that the housekeeper had prepared for it like any other morning.
Her day was like any place other, she executed each Edithe
applications, successful found a little time to get busy with it and go
about thier business of young woman.
The evening, Edithe had called to
tell hin she had organized a party with some friends and she had the
slightest desire to realize his old friend Mr.
de Winter.
After his arrival,
Rebecca had cared for him and he had spent his evening at the court.
Shortly after everyone is gone to bed, Rebecca had gone to join Mr.
De Winter wonders following.
They had spent the night together and in
the morning they decided to have a relationship.
More time passed over
their life together, Mr.
De Winter had developed an incurable mental
illness that made him crazy.
When he had come the day of anniversary of Rebecca, Mr.
De
Winter had wanted it organized a romantic evening juste of the two.
They were at the restaurant and had a little walk and had returned.
Before going to bed, Rebecca had gone to change in the bathroom.
When Mr.
De Winter was in turn went to change for the night, he was
put into a black rage against her for having been dragged its business.
A
huge argument had then broke out between them and within the scope
of the anger and the effects of mental illness, Mr.
De Winter strangled
him.
After regaining his senses and found the deaths of Rebecca, feeling
overwhelmed by regret, so guilt and flooded with grief, he was in turn
killed by jumping out the window.
He died instantly and it was only the
next morning that the body was found by the gardener and housekeeper.
