Yesterday, you gave an extraordinary speech and I am writing this letter to say thank you for it.
I listened yours
words close to the Parliament House; and I started to remember my childhood.
When I was young, I was
removed from my mother and I was placed in an institution.
After twenty-five years, I could see my mother.
The
people can't imagine and feel the suffering, the pain, the hurt of the Aboriginals at this period of history.
I am writing this letter to thank you, but I think you can make other thing; you can go further to restore the
respect.
With yours goods intentions and yours apologies, you can heal their heart to theirs endured suffer.
But, I implore you to find a possibility to improve the daily life of this Aboriginal population.
You can resolve the
injustices of the past for your nation.
Your nation is counting to continue and make a better “chapter in the
history of Australia�..
