First of all even if a dystopian world is a world where we advocated anarchy and terror there any "rules" to that
world be described as dystopian.
To start : the society.
A dystopian society is based on her citizens.Citizens
are perceived to be under constant surveillance, they have a fear of the outside world and live in a dehumanized
state.they have to Be conform to uniform expectations.
Individuality and dissent are bad.
They are controled by
a propaganda which is based on the information, She is ind?pendant.
There is no freedom : The natural world is
banished and distrusted.
A figurehead or concept is worshipped by the citizens of the society.
The second
important point in a dystopian world: by what or who he is controlled and in which point this control is based
on : Most dystopian works present a world in which oppressive societal control and the illusion of a perfect
society are maintained through one or more of the following types of controls.
It's can Be Corporate
control,One or more large corporations control society through products, advertising, and/or the media.
(Examples include Minority Report and Running Man.
) Also a Bureaucratic control ,Society is controlled by a
mindless bureaucracy through a tangle of red tape, relentless regulations, and incompetent government
officials.( Examples in film include Brazil.
) or A Technological control,Society is controlled by
technology?through computers, robots, and/or scientific means.
(Examples i The Matrix, The Terminator, and I,
Robot.
)and maybe a Philosophical/religious control: Society is controlled by philosophical or religious
ideology often enforced through a dictatorship or theocratic government.
too.
But the third points is for sure the most important point , the men or women who is at head an dystopian
ideology : The Protagonist.
He is often feels trapped and is struggling to escape.he believes or feels that
something is terribly wrong with the society in which he or she lives and helps the audience recognizes the
negative aspects of the dystopian world through his or her perspective.
He of course questions the existing
social and political systems.
As a conclusion a dystopian world is the perfect opposite of a utopian world :A
futuristic, imagined universe in which oppressive societal control and the illusion of a perfect society are.
